The Ryzen 9000, codenamed “Granite Ridge”, is the first top-tier desktop CPU to use the Zen 5 architecture. It boasts a 16% improvement in instructions per cycle (IPC) and consumes on average 30% less power compared to the Zen 4 architecture CPUs with equivalent performance.
