AMD Unveils Ryzen AI PRO 300 CPU for Copilot+ PC with Cutting-Edge 55 TOPS NPU Performance

AMD has unveiled the third-generation AI notebook processor under the Ryzen AI PRO 300 brand. Using Zen 5 architecture, this processor features a RDNA 3.5 GPU core and XDNA 2 NPU chip with a high performance range of 50-55 TOPS, making it one of the most powerful CPUs with NPU technology.

Manufactured using 4-nanometer technology, each model in the Ryzen AI PRO 300 series supports Copilot+ PC on Windows 11 from Microsoft. The Ryzen AI PRO 300 series includes three sub-models:

– Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 375: 12 cores, 24 threads, max clock speed of 5.1GHz, 36MB cache, Radeon 890M TOPS with a maximum of 55 TOPS.
– Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 370: 12 cores, 24 threads, max clock speed of 5.1GHz, 36MB cache, Radeon 890M TOPS with a maximum of 50 TOPS.
– Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360: 8 cores, 16 threads, max clock speed of 5.0GHz, 24MB cache, Radeon 880M TOPS with a maximum of 50 TOPS.

Partners who have announced notebooks with the Ryzen AI PRO 300 processor early on include HP EliteBook X and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD. AMD plans to launch over 100 models featuring Copilot+ PC on this processor lineup throughout 2025.
