Foxconn announces the construction of Taiwan’s largest supercomputer, utilizing the latest NVIDIA Blackwell GB200 chips.
The Foxconn supercomputer will feature the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 server system, with each cabinet housing 64 racks powered by NVIDIA Grace 36 CPUs and Blackwell 72 GPUs. When combined, a total of 4,608 cores, interconnected via NVLink with a bandwidth of 130 TB/s.
This supercomputer will boast a whopping 90 exaflops AI performance, marking it as Taiwan’s most powerful. It will be located at the new Hon Hai Kaohsiung Super Computing Center in Kaohsiung city. The system is set to commence operations in mid-2025, with full deployment by 2026.
