INET, the Internet Company of Thailand, has announced its investment in a new data center, IDC4, located in the Northeast region (province unspecified). Alongside this, they will also be investing in a 1,000-acre solar farm in the same region to provide clean energy for this data center.
INET has not disclosed when the IDC4 data center will start operating. They anticipate a revenue of approximately 2.5 billion baht in the year 2024, a 20% increase from the previous year. The main source of revenue comes from their Cloud Service, which includes a total of 61,600 Virtual Machine Instances (VMI) and services 5,000 corporate clients.
