Apple has updated iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta status for developers to test for two weeks. One of the new features is the Image Playground tool with Apple Intelligence.
According to MacRumors, when Image Playground was introduced at WWDC, Apple mentioned that images created can be styled in three ways: Animation, Illustration, and Sketch. However, in the released iOS 18.2 beta, the Sketch option for drawing images is missing.
Currently, Apple has removed the description of Image Playground’s abilities and the Sketch image creation feature from various parts of the website. It is not clear if Sketch will be permanently removed or why Apple chose to cut this capability.
