Apple has announced plans to update the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence feature for users of iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices. The update will roll out in the operating system starting from October onwards, specifically in iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. This update will gradually enhance the capabilities in the upcoming updates.
Apple Intelligence will initially support usage in American English. Following that, it will expand to support British English, Canadian English, New Zealand English, South African English, and UK English in December. Plans to support other languages will be added in the coming year, including Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish.
The status of Apple Intelligence at launch is in beta, supporting only iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad, and Mac devices with M1 chip or newer models.
