Apple Working to Resolve Silent Alarm Issue for Some iPhone Users

There have been reports on social media from iPhone users in recent weeks, encountering a peculiar issue where the alarm clock does not sound loudly. The latest news from Apple’s representative confirmed with The Wall Street Journal that they are aware of this issue and are currently working on a solution.

Apple stated that the problem lies in the alarm clock setting on some iPhones, where in some cases, it fails to sound when it’s time to wake up. This has led to many users reporting issues such as being late, missing appointments, and other related consequences.

However, before Apple addresses this issue, some users speculate that the alarm clock problem may be related to a feature called Attention Aware, which reduces the volume of alerts if the user is looking at the device. iPhones detect this through the TrueDepth front camera. If anyone encounters the mentioned problem, a temporary solution may be found by going to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and turning off Attention Aware.
