Intel announced the appointment of Justin Hotard as Vice President and General Manager of the Data Center and AI business group, effective from February 1st. Hotard will report directly to CEO Pat Gelsinger.
The Data Center and AI business group at Intel is responsible for the products catering to data centers, enterprise customers, and cloud services. This includes the Xeon and GPU product lines, as well as support for Intel’s AI initiatives.
Prior to joining Intel, Hotard held the position of Vice President and General Manager for HPC, AI, and Labs at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). In this role, he oversaw the development of AI systems for customers and managed research projects.
