ASML reported its first quarter results for 2025 with total sales of 7,742 million euros, a decrease of 16% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. The company achieved a net profit of 2,355 million euros, selling a total of 77 Lithography machines, including 73 new machines and 4 refurbished machines, with 14 machines being EUV.
An essential metric for ASML is the Net Bookings, which stood at 3,936 million euros in the previous quarter, with EUV machines accounting for 1.2 billion euros in value.
CEO Christophe Fouquet stated that the company’s performance is in line with expectations. The latest EUV High NA machines are now installed at 3 customer sites. Despite uncertainties in the global economy due to import tax events in the United States, Fouquet emphasized that AI continues to play a crucial role in the semiconductor machinery industry, with a promising growth trajectory.
