ASML, a prominent machinery manufacturer for semiconductor production, has reported its performance for the second quarter of 2024 with total sales reaching 6,243 million euros, an increase from the previous quarter, and a net profit of 1,578 million euros.
During the last quarter, ASML received net bookings of 5,567 million euros, selling a total of 100 Lithography machines, including 89 new machines and 11 refurbished machines.
Christophe Fouquet, the CEO of ASML who assumed the position in April, stated that the business trend aligns with the overall semiconductor industry, showing improvements in both the processing and memory component sectors. He expects the positive recovery trend to continue in the latter half of this year.
