Assassin’s Creed Codename RED is Officially Dubbed Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Ubisoft has announced that the next main installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, originally codenamed Assassin’s Creed Codename RED and set in Japan, has officially been named Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

The trailer for the game will be unveiled tomorrow, May 15, 2024, at 11:00 PM Thai time. Following the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage last year, Ubisoft currently has three games in the series under development:

– Assassin’s Creed Shadows, formerly known as Codename RED, set in ancient Japan
– Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, set in the glorious Roman Empire with a theme revolving around witches and dark sorcery, following the events of Shadows
– Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, a mobile game set in ancient China during the Jin dynasty, already revealed but not yet launched
