ASUS has unveiled the ProArt PZ13 tablet that can be connected to a keyboard, similar in design to the Microsoft Surface Pro, powered by the Snapdragon X Elite Arm processor. It is considered a PC-tablet hybrid, following the footsteps of the Surface Pro 11 that was introduced in the Copilot+ PC era.
The ASUS ProArt PZ13 targets professionals who may need to work on the go, such as photographers or video editors, requiring a device with high processing power, long battery life, portability, and durability in various environments.
Featuring a 13″ Lumina OLED display with 3K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and Dolby Vision support, the ProArt PZ13 is equipped with a Snapdragon X Series CPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and a maximum of 1TB SSD storage. It boasts a 5MP IR front camera, a 13MP rear camera, a silent 0 dBA fan for heat dissipation, side heat vents, and a total TDP of 20W.
The device also includes Dolby Atmos sound system, 3 microphones, IP52 water and dust resistance rating, a 70 Wh battery, measuring 9mm in thickness and weighing 0.85 kg. It is lighter than the Surface Pro 11 by a slight margin.
With USB4 Type-C ports, an SD card slot with microSD converter, and Wi-Fi 7 support, the ProArt PZ13 is compatible with the ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, rechargeable via USB-C.
