AWS announced the establishment of a region in Malaysia last year. Most recently, they have opened all 3 Availability Zones using the abbreviation ap-southeast-5. In addition to the newly opened AWS, both Google Cloud and Azure have plans to open regions in the same country.
While Thailand was announced to have a region before Malaysia, it will not be operational until next year.
