Capcom Boosts Full-Time Staff Salaries by 5%, Raises New Graduates’ Pay by 25%

Capcom has announced a 5% average salary increase for existing employees, along with a one-time special payment as an investment in the company’s human resources. Meanwhile, new employees who are recent graduates will see the company’s minimum salary raised from 235,000 yen per month to 300,000 yen, an increase of approximately 25%, in an effort to attract fresh talent.

In 2022, Capcom had previously raised employee salaries by an average of 30% for the same reason. This trend has been seen in several other gaming companies as well, such as Nintendo and Sega, who have implemented similar salary increases.
