Casio, the Japanese multinational corporation, has announced the pre-order availability of Moflin, a fluffy robotic pet resembling a hamster with the unique feature of slight movements and responsive sounds. Originally a collaborative project with Vanguard Industries, Casio now exclusively owns the manufacturing and distribution rights of Moflin.

The standout feature of Moflin lies in its digital pet therapy capabilities, designed to emotionally uplift its owners. Enhanced with AI technology for learning responses and sensations, this robotic companion can be customized via a smartphone app for voice recognition and volume adjustments.

With a playtime of approximately 5 hours on a full charge, Moflin comes with a small bed-shaped charging station for effortless recharging. Pre-orders for Moflin start at 59,400 yen (13,200 baht) with shipping scheduled to begin on November 7th. Additionally, there is a subscription service called Club Moflin priced at 6,600 yen per year (1,500 baht) offering comprehensive coverage for repairs, cleaning, and fur replacement.
