Microsoft has announced that Windows Mail, Calendar, and People will cease to function on December 31, 2024, as previously stated earlier this year. These applications will no longer send or receive emails online, but will still allow users to read emails, access calendars, and view contacts stored locally on their devices. Users can also export their data.
Microsoft’s objective is for users to transition to New Outlook, and users of these old applications can easily switch by clicking on the “Try the new Outlook” button located in the top right corner of the screen.
