Another breakout from a former Blizzard employee who ventured into starting his own game studio is Notorious Studios, founded by Chris Kaleiki and Douglas Frazer, both former World of Warcraft team members. Notorious Studios was established in 2021 and is gearing up to release their first game titled Legacy: Steel & Sorcery, an RPG PvPvE game set in an open-world fantasy realm with elements of elves, goblins, trolls, and magic. The unique aspect is that it is not an MMO.
After undergoing Alpha testing, the game seems to have shaped up well, with the recent announcement of Early Access testing on Steam starting on February 13, 2025, priced at $24.99.
