Collaboration between Apple and Tencent to Enhance Vision Pro Services for Successful Market Penetration in China’s Market

Reportedly from The Information regarding Apple’s market penetration plan for Vision Pro in China continues due to CEO Tim Cook revealing that the Spatial Computing headset will be sold in China within this year. The report indicates that Apple has negotiated with Tencent, a major internet company in China, to develop content and services into the Vision Pro version to attract users in China, particularly leveraging Tencent’s various services such as WeChat, QQ, as well as film and online gaming businesses. Apple states that these services are crucial for Vision Pro to succeed in the Chinese market.

Furthermore, Apple has also negotiated with various service providers in China to be partners in delivering Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple Fitness+ services in China, as the Chinese government does not permit these services due to their use of foreign clouds.
