Apple has announced plans to update the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence feature for users of iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The updates will roll out in the operating systems starting from October in iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, with added capabilities coming in future updates.
Apple Intelligence will initially support only American English language usage, then expand to include Australian English, Canadian English, New Zealand English, South African English, and British English in December. The status of Apple Intelligence during the launch is still in beta, supporting only iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPads and Macs with M1 chips or newer models.
