Sony has announced the cessation of online shooter game Concord on September 6, 2024, and will refund all buyers in full, regardless of whether they purchased through PS5 or PC versions.
Sony stated that certain aspects of the game did not meet the intended quality, hence the decision to shut down the game servers and refund players promptly. The future paths for the game will be determined at a later date.
Concord was developed by the studio Firewalk, which Sony acquired in 2023. Founded by former Destiny game team members, Concord marked Firewalk’s debut title.
