Court in Brazil Freezes All Accounts in Country Linked to Elon Musk’s Business Amid Possibility of X Blockade

Due to recent news of the Central Brazilian Government ordering X to appoint legal representatives for the company within 24 hours, or face a possible ban in the country, Judge Alexandre de Moraes has also issued an order to freeze all financial transactions under Elon Musk’s business network to ensure that X will have the funds to pay fines as per the court order.

Starlink, a satellite internet service provider in Brazil, has been impacted by this order and has stated that the ruling is unfounded and lacks sufficient reason for holding Starlink accountable for X’s actions. The company will continue to legally fight against this decision.

In response, Elon Musk criticized De Moraes, calling the order an abuse of power.
