Damac Group Ventures from Dubai to Invest 1 Billion Baht in Thailand, Establishing Edgnex Data Hub

Damac Group, the real estate investment conglomerate from Dubai, has ventured into the Thai market with a whopping investment of 1 billion dollars in Edgnex, a leading brand in data centers.

This collaboration between Damac Group and ProEn Corp Co., Ltd. will see Edgnex taking a 70% stake and managing the data centers in Thailand. The multi-faceted data center projects are set to kick off in early 2025, boasting Tier III level facilities with a power consumption of 5MW.

In a recent announcement on Gulfnews, EDGNEX highlighted its commitment to Thailand’s digital infrastructure by investing heavily in cutting-edge data center projects to cater to the increasing demands of AI technology.
