Xiaomi has unveiled its first foldable smartphone with a clamshell design, the Mix Flip, as revealed by Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, in a previous announcement. Featuring a 4.01-inch All Around Liquid display on the inside, it allows incoming calls to be answered without having to unfold the phone. The inner display is a 6.86-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the Mix Flip boasts dual front cameras, a main 50MP f/1.7 camera, and a 50MP f/2.0 macro camera. Available in three colors – black, white, and purple, the starting price of the Mix Flip is 5,999 yuan for the 256GB+12GB variant, with a maximum capacity of 16GB+1TB.
