Development Commencing: FFVII Remake Part 3 Disclosed by Tetsuya Nomura as Uematsu Nobuo Returns for Music Composition.

Tetsuya Nomura, the creative director of the Final Fantasy VII Remake project, provided an update on the game’s progress in a special episode on the Square Enix Music Channel on YouTube. He mentioned that the team is now working on Part 3 of the project and affirmed that they are putting in a great deal of effort.

In addition, Nomura asked Nobuo Uematsu during the show if he would be returning to compose music for the game. Nobuo expressed his honor at the opportunity to once again create music for the project.

Though details about Part 3 of Final Fantasy VII Remake are scarce, director Naoki Hamaguchi hinted previously that the new installment will involve building a new world within the game to support the evolving storyline and gameplay.
