Huawei stands out with significant growth, with a 69.7% increase in deliveries compared to the previous year, driven by the success of the Mate 60 series in the high-end smartphone market in the country.

Market share breakdown by brand shows vivo at the top with 17.4%, followed by HONOR at 16.1%, Apple at 15.7% (a significant decrease of 19%), and Huawei at 15.5%.

Ivan Lam, a seasoned analyst at Counterpoint, comments that vivo secures the top spot with strong sales of Y35 Plus and Y36 in the budget segment, and S18 in the mid-range segment. Meanwhile, Apple faces direct impact from Huawei’s comeback in the high-end smartphone market. Recent figures show a slight improvement in Apple’s sales, but not significant.
