Pavel Djundik, the founder of the SteamDB website, which records game statistics on Steam, has announced that he has discovered a new feature in the Steam client that allows users to hide certain games as private, preventing our friends from seeing them.
Currently, the options in Steam only allow users to set their entire game library as private, but they cannot choose specific games to hide. This means that if we set our library to “friends only,” our friends may still be able to see some games that we don’t want others to see, for whatever reason.
This feature has not been released for use in the Beta client yet, and it is unclear whether it will be implemented in the actual client.
TLDR: Pavel Djundik, founder of SteamDB, has discovered a new feature in the Steam client that allows users to hide certain games as private, preventing friends from seeing them. This feature is still in development and has not been released for use in the Beta client.
