Survey results from Sam Altman’s World Network revealed that 26% of the total 90,000 respondents have flirted or engaged in online chatbot conversations, whether knowingly or not. This indicates a growing trend of romantic interactions with AI.

Furthermore, the survey also indicated that 90% of individuals prefer dating apps to have a system in place to verify if they are speaking to a real human, as many have encountered or suspected chatting with a chatbot or real person. Meanwhile, 60% have doubts or have discovered that they are matched with a bot.
