EA recently held a briefing for investors regarding their future game sales plans (related to The Sims 4/5 news). The game Star Wars Jedi Part 3 by Respawn Entertainment studio has been confirmed as the final chapter of this trilogy.
The Star Wars Jedi series, which follows the story of Jedi Cal Kestis, released the first installment, Jedi Fallen Order, in 2019, followed by Jedi Survivor in 2023. Both games achieved high success in terms of critical acclaim and sales. EA disclosed that the combined player count for both parts exceeded 40 million, generating total revenue of over $5 billion, making it the highest-grossing Star Wars franchise in the gaming world.
Stig Asmussen, the director of both Star Wars Jedi parts, left EA in 2023 and recently founded his own studio called Giant Skull in early 2024. However, both Asmussen and EA have confirmed that Part 3 will continue development as planned because the game was designed as a trilogy from the start.
Currently, there is no other information available about Part 3, including the title, storyline, and release date.

TLDR: EA’s upcoming game sales strategy includes announcing the final chapter of the successful Star Wars Jedi trilogy, confirming its development despite the director’s departure and founding of his own studio.
