After Black Myth: Wukong shattered sales records with 10 million units sold in just 3 days, new figures have emerged two weeks later indicating sales have now reached approximately 18 million units.
Daniel Wu, owner of Hero Games Studio which holds a 20% investment in Game Science, recently revealed to Bloomberg that the latest sales figures may eventually hit 30 million units. Following the release of all DLCs by the studio.
Rumors surfaced earlier that Black Myth: Wukong was set to receive additional content, after the studio trimmed down the original 13 chapters to just 6 due to budget constraints. Wu seems to have confirmed these rumors as Game Science is reportedly working on new DLC to boost sales and has plans for a new game with a similar theme based on Chinese mythology unrelated to Black Myth: Wukong, which may not take as long to develop as the original (Black Myth: Wukong was developed over 6 years from 2018-2024).
Currently, Black Myth: Wukong sales are projected to reach around 700 million coins, second only to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III which reached 1 billion coins in 10 days.

TLDR: Black Myth: Wukong breaks sales records with 18 million units sold, potential for 30 million, DLC in works, and new game planned based on Chinese mythology.
