Elevate: Developers of Stellar Blade Considering PC Port and Sequel Creation

Shift Up, the studio behind Stellar Blade and NIKKE Goddess of Victory, has revealed through its IPO filing in South Korea that they are considering bringing Stellar Blade to PC, including Steam and Epic Games Store, and are contemplating the creation of a sequel to Stellar Blade.

The decision to explore a sequel and PC port stems from the team’s observation of successful game franchises like God of War and Final Fantasy, which have expanded with high-quality sequels generating long-term revenue. To achieve this, Shift Up plans to introduce new gameplay elements, additional content, and collaborations with other franchises into Stellar Blade.

Currently, Shift Up has announced a new game temporarily named Project Witches, still in the early stages of development with a planned release in 2023. The game aims for a multi-platform release on PC, consoles, and mobile devices, with hopes of replicating the success of titles like Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Fate/Grand Order.
