LINE Thailand collaborates with the Department of Pollution Control to expand the notification of PM2.5 dust levels through LINE ALERT nationwide in Thailand. Previously covering only the area in Bangkok, this initiative now supports the increasing PM2.5 dust situation that may impact public health.
LINE ALERT, launched by LINE Thailand in 2022, serves to inform over 56 million LINE users nationwide with vital information including:
– Updates on 5 levels of disasters
– Checking high-risk areas
– Emergency contact numbers
– Nearby hospitals
– Self-protection measures during disasters like storms, fires, floods, earthquakes, and PM2.5 fine dust particles.
This initiative receives collaboration from 4 state agencies, including the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, the Meteorological Department, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Environment Office, and most recently, the Department of Pollution Control.
