Ubisoft has released a major patch version 1.2 for the game Star Wars Outlaws as promised. This update addresses two crucial issues that players have criticized.
The stealth system has been newly revamped, improving AI functionality, NPC character positioning, patrol paths, camera surveillance, and overall making player stealth gameplay smoother than before (even though the game’s main selling point is stealth, it initially fell short).
The camera angle for riding speeder bikes has been widened for easier control, and adjustments have been made to reduce collisions with objects in the game, resulting in fewer crashes and better responsiveness.
Acknowledging that the sales of Star Wars Outlaws have fallen short of expectations, Ubisoft will be revisiting the game to iron out the remaining flaws (why rush in the first place!). Following this, there will be another major patch update (Title Update 3) along with the release of the first DLC named Wild Card in November. The company hopes to boost sales once again (similar to the successful turnaround seen with No Man’s Sky or Cyberpunk 2077 after fixing their issues).
The lessons learned from the incomplete release of Star Wars Outlaws have led Ubisoft to postpone the launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows by approximately 4 months to ensure a more polished game without the same small bugs that plagued Outlaws.

TLDR: Ubisoft delivers a significant patch update for Star Wars Outlaws to address player criticisms, acknowledges sales disappointment, and plans future updates and DLC releases to improve the game’s performance and avoid similar issues with upcoming releases.
