Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, embarked on a journey to China this week, visiting several locations and meeting with business leaders and government officials.
During his trip, Cook met with China Mobile to discuss the development of content on the 5G network, possibly including the creation of Spatial content for Apple Vision Pro. He also visited the offices of Sina Weibo, where he was asked about the availability of Apple Intelligence in China. Cook mentioned that they are in the process of seeking approval from regulatory agencies to introduce this feature to users in China as soon as possible.
Additionally, Tim Cook had a meeting with Jin Zhuanglong, China’s Minister of Industry and Information Technology, who confirmed Apple’s increased investment plans in China.
This visit marks Tim Cook’s most recent trip to China since March of last year.
