Google has enhanced the capabilities of the “Help me write” feature using Gemini AI to assist in composing emails in Gmail. The new additions include the original options to edit written emails such as Formalize, Elaborate, and Shorten, along with the newly added option of Polish to enhance the text aesthetically. Additionally, Google has introduced shortcuts for using Help me write in Gmail on both iOS and Android, with a button available on the compose email page. When typing a draft with at least 12 words, a Refine my draft tab will appear to apply various editing commands as needed.
The updated Help me write feature in Gmail is now available to Google Workspace customers who have subscribed to the Gemini add-on, as well as individual customers who have signed up for the Google One AI Premium plan.
