In the latest update, LINE on Android now allows users to set their Android device as an additional device, a significant new feature as previously it had to be the primary device.
LINE typically assigns the primary device, which is usually a smartphone, for login purposes. However, with this update, users can now designate other devices like computers or iPads as secondary devices for simultaneous usage. This flexibility was previously limited to Android smartphones, excluding tablets as primary devices. With this update, users of Android tablets can now choose to set them as secondary devices during login, enabling seamless usage with smartphones and computers.
Setting up additional devices on Android allows for concurrent usage with a limit of one device at a time, supporting LINE version 15.3.0 and above.
In this update, LINE also announced the end of support for Android 9.
