Enhanced Collaboration: LINE OpenChat now allows users to create subtopics (Threads) within chat rooms.

LINE OpenChat introduces a new feature called Threads for subtopic conversations within chat rooms, without disrupting the overall chat flow.

To start a new thread conversation, similar to other group chat apps, simply tap and hold on the message you want to initiate the thread from and open a subtopic conversation by selecting Thread. Users in the chat room can view the created subtopics from the top right corner icon and can participate, bookmark, and interact with the subthread just like in other OpenChat chats.

Additional conditions for thread usage include initiating a thread from a message not older than 24 hours and messages in a thread cannot be sent beyond a 2-week period.

Threads in OpenChat are supported in LINE version 14.7.0 and above.
