Microsoft has announced the addition of new features to Copilot in Windows, exclusively for Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel. The new features include system status indicators such as IP address display, battery status, Wi-Fi network status, and the ability to command the recycle bin. Additionally, there are accessibility features like screen reader activation, magnifier function, and text size adjustments.
One standout feature is the integration of Copilot with Microsoft’s Power Automate app, allowing users to execute a wide range of workflow commands. This enables tasks such as sending emails to everyone on a team, retrieving information on the top 5 highest mountains in the world and inputting it into an Excel file, renaming PDF files in a folder with ‘final’ at the end, moving Word documents to another folder, and extracting only the first page of a PDF file to create a new file.
