Enhanced Dating Experience: Tinder Unveils Share My Date Feature for Social Circles

Tinder has announced the addition of a new feature, allowing users to share their date information when meeting up with a conversation match on the app, with friends and family. This feature, aptly named “Share My Date,” entails sharing a link that can be accessed without a Tinder account. The shared details include the date and time of the date, the name of the match, and the meeting place, with the option to add additional notes. The link remains accessible for 30 days and can be edited if changes occur. However, without a Tinder account, accessing information such as match photos is limited.

Tinder revealed that Share My Date was developed based on feedback from 51% of users under the age of 30 who expressed a desire for friends to be informed about their upcoming dates. This feature will be rolled out in select countries, including Thailand, next month.

TLDR: Tinder introduces “Share My Date” feature for users to easily share date details with friends and family, based on user feedback, primarily targeting users under the age of 30.
