Enhanced File Access: Windows 11 Insider Adds Feature to Open Android Files via File Explorer

Microsoft has announced a new feature for Phone Link/Link to Windows in Windows 11 Insider, allowing users to open and view files on connected Android devices using File Explorer. The usage format may seem similar to plugging a smartphone into a PC via USB and then mounting files, but this can now be done wirelessly and automatically if we enable the Access in File Explorer option in the Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile Devices screen beforehand.

This feature is only available on Windows Insider, Link to Windows app version 1.24071 and above, and Android devices must be version 11 or higher.

TLDR: Microsoft introduces a new feature for Phone Link/Link to Windows in Windows 11 Insider, enabling users to view files on connected Android devices through File Explorer.
