Google Drive has announced the addition of small features that could make it easier for many people to work together in sharing files with teams or others. Users can now send emails directly from the file sharing window, including details for the recipients who have already received the shared file. This allows users to add additional messages, details, or notifications for easy tracking.
When sending an email, it can be done through Google Drive or from various apps. Simply choose “Share” and “Email people on this file” to send the email to everyone who has previously received the shared file.
This feature will begin rolling out starting August 26th and will be available for Google Workspace customers, Google Workspace Individual users, and general Google account users.
