Apple has released an update to its iMac lineup, introducing a new 24-inch display model with the M3 chip, a significant jump from the previous M1 chip. The design remains unchanged, offering the same color options as before, with a variety of seven different colors.
Apple aims to attract users of the previous iMac models to upgrade to this new version. They claim that the M3 chip offers up to twice the performance compared to the M1 chip. Additionally, if users upgrade from the 27-inch iMac with the fastest Intel CPU, they can experience a performance boost of up to 2.5 times.
Other specifications include a Retina 4.5K display, a FaceTime HD 1080p camera, expandable RAM up to 24GB, and storage capacity of up to 2TB. There are two Thunderbolt-USB 4 ports and two additional USB 3 ports for the 10-core CPU model.
The selling price includes two sub-models:
1. iMac 24-inch, 8-core CPU, starting at 49,900 baht and 48,000 baht for educational purposes. It comes with a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse in four color options: green, pink, blue, and silver.
2. iMac 24-inch, 10-core CPU, starting at 56,900 baht and 53,100 baht for educational purposes. It includes a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, Magic Mouse, and additional Ethernet port, as well as two extra USB 3 ports. This model is available in all seven colors: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver.
The official release date for Thailand is yet to be announced.
