Google Drive has had automatic video captions since last year. Now, Google has added new functionality to enhance the usefulness of these captions. Users can now search for specific text within the captions.
Users can simply click on the captions displayed in the right-side bar of the video player, which are time-stamped, and search for the desired words to jump to that point in the video. This feature is available to both Google Workspace customers and general Google account holders. It is expected to be fully rolled out by March 26th.
