In this change, Etsy states that products sold on the platform must be labeled as one of the following four categories, with additional specified details:

Made by a seller: Products created, modified, assembled by the seller themselves, whether handmade or using their own tools, including 3D printers and laser cutters.
Designed by a seller: Original designs by the seller (using Prompt AI is acceptable), can be digital work or manufactured work printed by a 3rd Party.
Sourced by a seller: Products curated with creative ideas from the seller, such as DIY kits, party decor sets, either self-made or outsourced production.
Handpicked by a seller: Vintage items, natural goods, or the seller’s collectibles.
