Microsoft has updated the Snipping Tool program to version 11.2404.37.0 with the following new features:
– Ability to insert emojis into images (previously only geometric shapes and arrows)
– QR code detection in images and display of actionable information
– Addition of opacity slider when selecting colors for use
This update affects Windows 11 users in the Windows Insiders group first. Additionally, Microsoft has also made small updates in Paint by renaming the AI CoCreator image creation tool to the new name Image Creator.
