X has announced plans to support Passkey on the Android app, following its availability to iOS users in the United States in January, and globally in April.
Passkey has gained popularity among online service providers since the end of last year as it helps reduce the risk of password entry by using device-based encryption for verification, which is more secure than other two-factor authentication methods.
To use Passkey on X, users will still need a password to log in to their account, and enable Passkey later in Settings & Support > Settings and privacy > Security and account access > Security > Passkey.

TLDR: X will soon support Passkey on Android following its release on iOS, offering a more secure authentication method for users accessing their accounts.
