Gmail for Android has finally introduced a much-requested feature, the Select All function. Now users can select all emails on the screen, up to a maximum of 50, that have been received since September 2023.
This feature has been eagerly awaited by Gmail users who often need to select a large number of emails simultaneously for deletion or folder organization, just like they can on the desktop version of Gmail. It may seem peculiar for mobile screens that can be scrolled repeatedly, but Google has imposed a limit of 50 selected emails, matching the desktop version.
Having tested it on my own device, I can confirm that the Select All feature is now available in Gmail for Android.
