A feature flag of the Google app has been discovered on Android Beta version 15.26.34. When selected, it can display Gemini in a multi-window layout and allows dual chat conversations simultaneously.
Previously, popping up Gemini would only occur when dragged from the bottom of the screen. However, users can now press and drag the Gemini pop-up window to the top of the screen to open it as a Gemini chat window within the Google app, while still retaining the original pop-up at the bottom. Chatting with Gemini in both windows will have no correlation.
Additionally, a string hint suggests that this feature will also be supported on Samsung devices, possibly tailored for the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 set to debut on July 10th.
