The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced an amendment to the criteria for listing digital tokens that issuers can offer as compensation. ICO Portals can now accept transactions involving two additional digital currencies – USD Coin (USDC) and Tether (USDT). This adjustment came into effect on March 16, 2568.
Currently, cryptocurrencies accepted for transactions on digital asset exchanges include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM), as well as programmable payment tokens used in Thailand’s Enhanced Regulatory Sandbox. These tokens are subject to conditions set by the Bank of Thailand (BOT).
