Enhancing Urban Exploration: Google Maps Introduces Feature Recommending Trendy Hotspots Based on User Statistics

Google Maps has a feature called Lists, which allows us to create our own list of places and share it with others. Recently, Google updated the Lists feature by adding a list of popular places in that area, divided into 3 levels with icons displayed on the map:

๐Ÿ”ฅ Trending – places that are popular at the moment, such as newly opened restaurants. Information is updated weekly.

๐Ÿ† Top – perennially popular places that are regularly visited.

๐Ÿ’Ž Gems – hidden gem places that not many people may know about.

This feature is currently only available in the United States and Canada, supporting data for approximately 40 cities.
