Instagram’s Head, Adam Mosseri, has announced a new feature in Threads that has been heavily requested by users. This feature allows users to save posts or bookmark them for later. Interestingly, this feature has been around for a while on X/Twitter.
Mosseri mentioned that the status of this feature is currently being tested in a limited group before it is expanded to all users in the future. Currently, saving posts requires users to tap the three-dot button in the top right corner to access the command. However, it is expected that Threads will display the button directly on the main page, similar to X/Twitter.
This addition will bring Threads closer to X with more added tools. In the latest Meta report, it was revealed that Threads has already surpassed 130 million Monthly Active Users (MAUs).
TLDR: Instagram’s Threads will soon introduce the highly requested feature of saving and bookmarking posts. This addition will make the platform more user-friendly and is expected to enhance the overall user experience. Currently being tested in a limited group, this feature will soon be available to all users.
